This is my entry to the EVE-online star-ship contest.
I rubbed my eyes twice when I woke up in the morning and discovered from my DA mailbox that CCP was holding a EVE-online contest in DA. I have been dreaming about getting my design to eve for as long as I'v played it.

So I started looking through my old works (I got hundreds of unfinished things on my drive, because I get very inspirational at late nights, but I never get to finish anything because I have to go to sleep ). This ship is something I put together from many different sketches.

What else... I wanted to use golden Amarr logos on the sails and hull, but wasn't sure if it was legal in this case. I filed a petition inside the game to the "EULA and terms of service" team as well, asking if I could do it, but these things take time... so no Amarr logos at the moment.

I used guardian color pallet mostly with crimson red and gold + different variations of brown

Back-story:

Designed by old (rumored to be crazy) pod pilot, who came across the blueprints or something like it on one of he's exploration trips on the border of Gallente low security and lawless space.
Rumor has it, he found a sleeper drone operation in a dead end low security system (though many don't believe the sleepers drone part, as they have never known to venture outside of there unknown systems.). According to the story the pilot lost he's harbinger classed battlecruiser in a short skirmish with the superior drone forces, leaving the pod floating in deepness of space. Some say the pilot wasen't able to warp out due to the drones subspace jammers (though once again this has sparked a lot of controversy, as Jovian pods warp systems have rarely known to malfunction), other say the pilot just didn't want to warp out, because of he's curiosity of the drones. What ever happened, it's rumored that the pilot actually docked he's pod with one of the drone battleships, some say it to be a sleepless keeper, other say it was just a rogue drone overseer there are even been talks about a fully functioning Yan Jung cruiser. No one knows what happened inside but what is known is that the pilot was inside almost a day, as indicated by the pods log. After returning to the pod, the warp jamming field was gone or maybe it never even was there to begin with.
Then some time later after the incident, one of the high ranking Amarrian agents in Imperial Constructions got approached late after the work. Evidently the same pilot who had lost he's ship to the drones and been on board that long forgotten vessel (what ever type that was), had come up with an advanced design star-ship in less then a week, featuring specs that made even that veteran engineer raise he's eyebrows.
It didn't take long before the theology council gained knowledge of the whole mater. The agent for the Imperial Constructions disappeared and the pilot who came up with the blueprints was arrested on grounds of smuggling, while making a supply run through Amarr.
There really are no lengths for which Amarr can go for even a little technological edge and pod pilots some times talk about how that pilot was tortured to death hundreds of times, only to be reactivated again with a new clone...
Years went by and with proper motivation from the ex-slave-masters and an elite group of royal ship engineers (the same people who built the infamous Gold Magnate) an advanced cruiser sized yacht was built, specially for the upcoming Amarr Empress (even when she wasn't at power back then, there's even speculation if the Empress her self didn't give the order for the arrest.)
There are no records of what happened to the builders or the pod pilot after the ship was finished plus noone has ever seen the ship in any action and rumor has it, that it's still docked at the royal space-dock, hidden from praying eyes.

My idea was to give this ship the ability to dock pods. So it could be like a fancy bus. Let's say I want to get all my alts from jita to rens (even tho I don't have alts), then I could dock their pods inside the ship and fly it there. Or me and some other people may want to get from jita to rens, we could dock with another player (if we trust him) and he could fly us to rens and undock us in to the station. That would be neat and save me a shuttle trip and possibly not gettin' me blown up at every gate : )

...Or it could be something entirely else ^^
