Life has become more easier since the last update.
I only have one company now and I'm no longer the only employee.

Financial status has improved and keeps on improving.
Was in a relation ship for a while, then got dumped.
My dog passed away (at the age of 10), but it was OK in the end.

My V6 MR2 project is also coming to an end as the build is almost finished.
I don't know now if I should take on another car project or get back in to 3D art.
What ever happens, I'll make sure the pictures run through here : )

Other than that...
It's quiet.

I feel there's a big change approaching.
Dreams have gotten crazy too... I guess I have to see where the life takes me.

I really should update this place here more frequently.

In any case, I have a job now... (have had a job for past 7 months now actually)
I'm working with a material called re-board.
Building 3D stuff out of it, mainly exhibition boxes. So I had to learn how to operate a big industrial cutter and a big industrial printer.
I also use my 3d knowledge to build and design these boxes before they are confirmed by the contractor, so I guess I just became a professional 3D modeler/designer (heh)

It's quite fun, while I'm not messing everything up :D
It's like working with a massive origami machine, so all 3D has to come to a reality from a big 2D re-board plane.
Also I can only fold stuff, one way
Also I have to print before I cut and fold it
Also, the printed side has to stay faced down, so I can't see where the hell I'm folding it... :D
Also, if I mess even a little bit up, either by:
miscalculating
forgetting the synchronization dots
messing up so the print schematics and cut schematics don't match
mirroring the print file in a wrong way
forgetting to convert from RGB to CMYK
using a too low dpi fail
forgetting to attach the material to the printer so it doesn't shake when printing
forgetting to attach the material to the cutter so it doesn't shake when cutting
forgetting to calibrate the printer head height so it doesn't crash in to the material and sound the alarm like the factory is burning
forgetting to turn on the UV, print heater lights
forgetting to use gloves so the print gets dirty fingerprints
etc etc etc etc etc....

...so if I mess any of that stuff up, I basically create ~80-100€ of damage in a nanosecond and have to start again

So what can I say?
It's fun but stressful, sometimes I work the whole weekends away (so that's like 12 days straight), on the other hand, I get them back with an intrest :D (and get a week to rest, with pay)
The pay is ok, at least by Estonian standards
I can finally get back to working on my Toyota MR2 V6 project, that I can now finance
My hobby 3d projects suffer (what else is new)
aaaand I STILL haven't finished the university, because I just can't seem to make time for it. OH NOES

I'm ACX, and these were the 00:04 o' clock news o/

Saw my last update was on the 28th of april 2012.
Might as well make the new one year later.

Had few major projects done, like the down-town square of our capital, redesigned. Also a new shopping center and few larger log-houses.
Bought me a project car, an Toyota MR2 (yeah I already have one), but the new one has a 3.0L V6 engine. It's not running yet, but I'm working on it ^^

edit: upgraded my workstation btw:
Still sitting behind the AMD 1090T, but I have 16GBs ram now and a gforce 680gtx (4gb) for the large textures.
Also bought a DELL 27'' U2711 monitor. I can finally see true colors when working and 2560x1440 resolution is excellent for games and work. Even though the response time is bit low.
Sound system has been updated as well with the old Logitech Z5500. Not the greatest system in general but one of the best if ur in to base heavy music.

Life has got quite strange, when I went to university I had a life, now I'm just sitting behind a computer every day and rarely go out, since I work and live at home. I suspect it's taking it's toll on my mental health.
Buuuut I'm not really sure I want to change anyway, because change is very un-Estonian and I don't want to be unpatriotic. :D

Here's me hoping for a warm summer and a productive future.
Thanks for reading.

What's up

1 min read
hmmkay

I'm back on the saddle...
just felt like I should update my Journal, since it was over 6 months old now.

Main priority is to get more RAM for my PC... 20x 8500x8500 textures are starting to take their toll
...and I found nice little technique how to make quick, great looking textures for my mesh, so I'm slowly but surely working on that battlecruiser.

: )

back from the army (since 15.11.11) with a tic and some nasty brain-infection, coz the bastards messed up my inoculations -_-

Now going through a rough spot in life, featuring stuff like:
Having no money
Having no job
Looking how my Toyota MR2 is just crumbling to peaces
Going insane

On the bright side, Elder Scrolls Skyrim is out with battlefield 3, so I'll have plenty to do lol.
